Dan Flynn is a drummer, recording/mix engineer, and producer originally from New Jersey and now based in central Texas. Coming up in the early 2000s NJ/NYC hardcore and punk scene Dan expanded his love for playing music by entering the world of recording and production. After studying audio engineering in NYC at the Institute of Audio Research in 2009 and the School of Audio Engineering in 2011.
A decade in the music industry, Dan has engineered and assisted some notable talents including Tough on Fridays, Fit For A King, Our Last Daze, Third Eye Blind, Invent Animate, Whiskey Myers, George Strait, Paul Simon, Slow Pulse and Walker Lukens. Dan is dedicated to capturing the highest quality of recording possible and allowing the artist to feel at home in order to bring out the best in their work.
Today, Dan resides at Studios at Fischer’s Firefly Sound Studio as lead audio engineer. This space allows Dan to expand his interest in filmmaking. Over years, Dan has directed music videos and short films.
